Step 1: Just Open
Open the app and you're in. No Sign Up, no Login, no email, no password to remember.
I'm a mom of two young kids building the apps I couldn't find: ones that respect our families' privacy. No servers. No tracking. Just your data, on your device.
No servers · No tracking · No accounts · Works offline
Our promise
As a mom of two, I don't feel safe with my family's data living on a stranger's server. That's why I build Local-First. Whether it's my period tracker or my upcoming games, your information never leaves your local storage on iPhone. There are no accounts to hack, no databases to leak, and no one watching. Just me, my code, and your peace of mind.
Featured app
A private space for your cycle. No cloud, no tracking, no compromises.
When I went looking for a period tracker, I was shocked that most apps required an account and wanted to upload my most personal data to their servers. As an engineer, I knew there was a simpler way. So I built the equivalent of a paper notebook that lives safely in your pocket — a digital paper notebook, private by design.
Stored on this iPhone only. No account, no cloud, nothing leaves your device.
No account. No cloud. It just works — even in Airplane Mode.
How it works
Open the app and you're in. No Sign Up, no Login, no email, no password to remember.
Tap the calendar to log your cycle. Simple, calm, and entirely on your device.
Close the app knowing your data never left your iPhone. There is nothing to leak.
Privacy promises
These aren't settings you have to find and turn off. They're how the app is built.
No sign-up, no login, no email address. There is nothing to hack because there is no account.
Works fully offline — Airplane Mode is welcome. Your cycle doesn't need a connection.
No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixels, no trackers watching what you tap.
Your data is never sold or shared. It can't be — it never leaves your phone.
In the workshop
Currently developing kid-safe, offline games for the next generation of players — built with the same local-first promise: no accounts, no ads watching, no data leaving the device.
Now in developmentAbout
I'm a mom of two young kids and an engineer. I started UrsaStellar to build the apps I couldn't find for my own family — tools that are genuinely useful and genuinely private.
Everything I make is local-first: your data lives on your device, in your hands, where it belongs.
My Manifesto — if an app needs my family's data on a server to work, I'll build one that doesn't.
